Moorland Haunt is a versatile dual-purpose land that serves as both mana acceleration and a creature generation engine, making it an excellent addition to decks built around creature-heavy strategies and graveyard synergies. This land from the Shadows over Innistrad set taps for colorless mana like any basic land, but its real value emerges through its secondary ability, which allows you to spend white and blue mana along with a tap to exile a creature card from your graveyard and create a 1/1 white Spirit token with flying. The ability to convert creatures already in your graveyard into flying tokens makes Moorland Haunt particularly attractive for decks that naturally fill the graveyard through self-mill, creature death, or discard effects, transforming what would otherwise be dead resources into evasive threats that can pressure opponents over multiple turns.
