Ministrant of Obligation is a versatile white creature that punches well above its weight in limited and constructed formats alike. This two-mana human cleric presents an excellent rate for its body and comes with the powerful afterlife 2 mechanic, which ensures you generate significant value even when your creature meets removal. When Ministrant of Obligation dies, you immediately create two 1/1 white and black Spirit creature tokens with flying, effectively turning a single card into three damage potential and board presence. This makes it an exceptionally difficult card to answer efficiently, as blocking it or removing it leaves you with a pair of flying bodies. In deck construction, this card fits naturally into several archetypes.
