Alistair, the Brigadier is a compelling three-mana legendary creature that rewards players for building around the historic card type, making it an excellent centerpiece for decks that naturally incorporate artifacts, legendaries, and Sagas. As a 3/3 body with four toughness across three colors, it provides a reasonable baseline while offering exceptional upside through two distinct abilities that synergize beautifully with each other. The first ability generates a 1/1 Soldier token whenever you cast a historic spell, creating consistent board presence and value that scales throughout the game.
