Legendary Creature — Human Avatar Ally
Flying (This creature can't be blocked except by creatures with flying or reach.) Vigilance (Attacking doesn't cause this creature to tap.) Other creatures you control have vigilance.
Monk Gyatso taught Aang many things, most importantly to live with joy.
Aang, Air Nomad brings a classic mono-white anthems-and-aggro strategy to the table with built-in evasion. Flying and vigilance on a 5/4 body already makes him a formidable threat that can attack and defend simultaneously, but granting vigilance to your entire board transforms combat math dramatically. In Commander, he pairs well with token strategies where wide boards of vigilant creatures become both offensive and defensive powerhouses. Cards like Cathar's Crusade, Intangible Virtue, and Anointed Procession amplify his team-building approach. His higher mana cost means he fits best in mid-range to late-game strategies rather than aggressive weenie builds. In limited formats, he's a bomb-level pick that demands immediate removal, as a vigilant army quickly becomes unmanageable for opponents trying to race or stabilize.
